One Year Later...

I wrote that last post almost exactly a year ago. My friend, Barbara, had convinced me to create a blog, and I got that far. But then I sat and stared at the screen trying to think of something interesting to write. I tried numerous times to think of something. I never could so I gave up. Then recently some of my favorite people (also from AZ) created their family blogs and I have really enjoyed reading them. I started thinking again about trying to write something halfway interesting. Still blank. Today my friend, Monica (also from AZ. What is it with AZ and blogging?) called and tried to convince me to write a blog. I told her I had nothing interesting to write about. A few minutes later I proceeded to tell her about our trips to Vietnam, Hawaii and New York and about Landon riding a unicycle and about Annalise returning from Turkey on Wednesday. She convinced me that I did, indeed, have some interesting things to write about. (Probably she was just bored to death and thought it would be easier to skim over on my blog rather than have to listen to me blather on.) She said she hoped I would put pictures on my blog, since I do that for a living I should have TONS of great shots of my family, right? UHHH....have you ever been to a builders house and noticed that it is never finished? Or have you ever noticed how doctors rarely take their own kids in when they're sick? Well, from that you can probably glean how many pictures I have taken of my own kids in the last year. It's a crime. But now that I'm blogging maybe I'll do better? The pictures at the top of this blog are 2 years old and pretty much the last portrait we took together. I will try to dig up a few others, but it's pretty slim pickin's.
